How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs

Let’s get this started with some technical terms. . .
Gynecomastia is the development of breasts in males generally attributed to an imbalance in sex hormones. This imbalance of hormones may be caused by a variety of factors including use of anabolic steroids. Consult with a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Pseudo-gynecomastia is breast prominence in males due solely to excess fat. And this is the type of man boobs I’m addressing today. For this type of man boobs you can save yourself the doctor visit by putting down the cheese burger and getting some exercise.
If you have man boobs solely due to excess fat, then revamping your diet and exercise habits should be your first line of defense. Don’t believe any hype about some magic cream or even that push-ups alone will get rid of your boobs. Getting rid of man boobs will happen naturally over time when a plan such as The 31 Day Fat Loss Cure is followed .
- Remember that diet is key. Diet is at least 80% of the battle when it comes to reducing body fat and getting rid of your man boobs. This does not mean that you need to starve yourself. But it does mean that you need to quit eating anything that comes from a drive-thru or out of a cardboard box. Lots of fresh vegetables should be the center point of your diet. Lean meats and eggs in sensible portions will provide the protein your body needs. Fruits and a small amount of nuts make great snacks. Just about every other food item (bread, pasta, potatoes, dairy) should be greatly reduced or not eaten at all
- Get uncomfortable. Walking on a treadmill at a pace that allows you to talk on your cell phone and read a magazine is not going to get rid of your man boobs. You have to work at a pace that actually feels like “work”. The intensity level of your training must be scaled according to your current fitness level, but it must be challenging. Maybe challenging for you right now is walking at a brisk pace to then end of your block. Then again, maybe doing hill sprints for twenty minutes presents a challenge for you. What ever your current fitness level, it is important to always strive to go just a little farther or a little faster than you did in your previous workout. As long as you always strive to take your training to the next level, results will be inevitable.
- Chest exercises are not the answer. You can bench press and do push ups all that you want, but as long as your overall body fat is high you will not get rid of your man boobs. Just like sit ups won’t get rid of belly fat, chest exercises will not get rid of fat that is in your chest area. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but sprints, skipping rope, kettlebell swings, or any of the circuit workouts in the 31 Day Fat Loss Cure program will do more to get rid of man boobs than a ton of push ups. Sure push ups and other chest exercises will help build muscle in that area, but a workout program involving all of the major muscle groups is needed to reduce overall body fat and get rid of man boobs.
Having man boobs can be embarrassing. And with that feeling of embarrassment, wanting a quick-fix to the problem is natural. But keep in mind that the best way to get rid of man boobs is to improve your overall health and fitness level. And the best way to do that is through consistent practice of sound nutrition habits and a total body exercise program that continually challenges you.
